Services

Massage has many benefits as well as pleasures for the expectant and new mother. The usual aches and pains of pregnancy (low back aches, sciatica, sore neck and shoulders, carpel tunnel, swelling, etc) are generally dismissed as “part of the process.” Massage can greatly improve all of these conditions. After an hour long session, you will feel more comfortable in your pregnant body and more connected to your unborn child. As a bonus, because of the pregnancy hormones, your muscle tissue is more relaxed and pliable then ever before, making the second and third trimesters a perfect time for you to address any chronic physical problems you may have.

Labor Induction Treatment

A luxurious 90 minute treatment appropriate during weeks 37 to 42. Acupressure and aromatherapy to encourage and help your body begin the labor process. Focused deep tissue massage to open up the pelvis so that your baby can engage and descend with ease.

Post Partum Massage

Massage will help relieve any aches and pains in the pelvis, neck and shoulders after a difficult labor (as early as 72 hours after birth). Compassionate touch greatly soothes baby blues and postpartum depression. Supportive strokes improve muscle tone so that you can get back to your pre-pregnancy physique.

First Trimester Massage

Soothing, gentle strokes to relieve stress and worry during this emotionally challenging stage.

Second Trimester Massage

Deeper, more focused work to support your rapidly changing body. Help prepare the body for the challenges of the third trimester.

Third Trimester Massage

Continue with deep tissue work to address any postural issues and to create space and movement throughout your body. Focus on releasing the pelvis to help you prepare for childbirth while allowing you to rest and get centered for parenthood.
